| Transmitter RSGB microwave committee UHF source, with low volt drop regulator and FSK mod. This is amplified by a Multitone paging transmitter PA to about 4watts, then it is trebled to 1160 MHz by a varactor tripler, filtered and then doubled (another varactor) to the final frequency, a high quality surplus filter ensures spectral purity at the output.
