GB3NB > Echolink

GB3NB is testing a Echolink Connection from the QTH of G0LGJ main use for GB2CW nets, Norfolk Amateur Radio Club nets and GB2RS news broadcasts.
GB3NB node number is 801356.
If you have a DTMF microphone then you can use it.
(PC DTMF Tone Generator here unzip and install you could then use this application and key your mic to send DTMF tones if you radio does not have a DTMF microphone)

You can of course use the Internet and the echolink application.

Announce with your callsign and then input your DTMF tones best to check if the repeater is connected with a 08 first. If you try and get for example GB3PI not found it may not be connected to echolink.

Repeater Abuse GB3NB

From Ofcom / RSGB ETCC

What should you do when you encounter abuse?

Do not respond to it. Experience suggests that abusers want an audience, so ignore them. Remember that you may be breaking your own licence conditions if you correspond with someone who is breaking the terms of their licence or who does not have a licence or if you try to deny them access by keying your microphone.
Do not approach or confront them.
If abuse occurs frequently, make a note of it. Write down essential details such as the date, time, frequency, location, mobile or fixed, what form the abuse took and any other factors that you think might be useful.
Maintain this log in order to build up a pattern of the abuser's operations.
Make sure the information you collect is precise and accurate.

Can I please ask you not provoke the interference as a repeater group we are dealing with the interference which occurs mainly on the Monday Night Net, RSGB News and GB2CW. Please logit with signal strengths, noise anything unusual you may hear about the signal. Send you reports to
